Leading Churchgate’s Human Capital Management is a challenging but fulfilling role. There is tremendous personal satisfaction, not just for me but for the entire team, whenever we add a new hire to our growing and dynamic firm. The recruiting process is driven as a team effort, attracting and retaining high calibre individuals remains one of Churchgate’s highest priorities. Working from home and across different time zones gives me ownership and flexibility of my work load. It enables me to have full responsibility of the recruiting process and implementing our rigorous, yet flexible approach to hiring. It also has the added advantage that I can keep an eye on my two teenage children! I have an LLB Hons Law from Middlesex University and qualified as a barrister at Inns of Court School of Law having been Called to the Bar by The Honourable Society of the Inner Temple.

Churchgate (Marathi: चर्चगेट) is an area in downtown South Mumbai (formerly Bombay). The local station gets its name from Church Gate street (now Veer Nariman Road) which lies just south of the station. During the 18th and up to the mid 19th century, Bombay was a walled city with three gates; Church Gate, named after St. Thomas Cathedral in Mumbai, was one of the gates.
