Anvita Raghuram

Head of Churchgate IR
  • I started my association with Churchgate Partners as a freelancer with the responsibility of ESG profiling of domestic & global clients and soon progressed to work on a full-time basis. The role provides good insight into the ESG activities of the clients, and various country-specific or global standards associated with them. I am a post-graduate in Commerce from Mumbai University, with a specialisation in Accounting and Finance. Previously I have worked with an accounts firm preparing internal and statutory audits of both listed and non-listed companies. In my free time, I enjoy reading English novels and learning new languages.

Churchgate (Marathi: चर्चगेट) is an area in downtown South Mumbai (formerly Bombay). The local station gets its name from Church Gate street (now Veer Nariman Road) which lies just south of the station. During the 18th and up to the mid 19th century, Bombay was a walled city with three gates; Church Gate, named after St. Thomas Cathedral in Mumbai, was one of the gates.
