When we first founded Churchgate it would have been hard to imagine that within such a short period of time we would become a truly international investor relations firm with clients across India, Middle East and South East Asia. Nothing could be more satisfying for me as a professional than leading a board room discussion and delivering insightful market feedback to our corporate clients. As the Managing Director of Churchgate my highest responsibility, in addition to the growth of the firm, is to ensure that I have not only a high performance team, but a happy one. Being a qualified Chartered Accountant, I am excited by numbers and that helps me stick to one of our firm’s founding values of First Principles and enables us to give objective advice to corporates. Previously I worked with UBS investment bank for about 5 years which has provided me with a strong capital markets background. I am also a Commerce graduate from the University of Rajasthan.

Churchgate (Marathi: चर्चगेट) is an area in downtown South Mumbai (formerly Bombay). The local station gets its name from Church Gate street (now Veer Nariman Road) which lies just south of the station. During the 18th and up to the mid 19th century, Bombay was a walled city with three gates; Church Gate, named after St. Thomas Cathedral in Mumbai, was one of the gates.
